Terms of "My Web Site Sucks" Contest
- Your web site must be for a business with its own location, no home-based or “virtual” businesses.
- The business must have a domain name and at least one web page live at the time of submission.
- On May 15 2008 one web site will be selected by Distant Horizon staff to be “the worst” and we will contact the winner to offer a complimentary redesign using Distant Horizon’s Proven Structure or StartCart platforms.
- Distant Horizon’s decision is subjective and there will be no recourse for non-winners to debate the decision.
- If the winner declines the prize, or if the winner does not control the web site development or hosting decisions and the true decision maker does not readily accept the prize, another winner will be chosen accordingly.
- The maximum value of this prize is $6,000.00 and the prize will be awarded in web site products or development services only. Hosting, add-ons, customization programming are not included.
- The winner will be responsible for standard ongoing hosting charges if they decide to go forward with the web site redesign project. These fees range from $30 per month for small business to $170 per month for e-commerce.
- Every company that submits their web site will be eligible for a 10% discount web site product purchases including Express, Proven Structure, StartCart or Rapid Deployment E-commerce. The discount does not apply to hosting, customization programming or add-ons which require additional programming.
